Ansaam Gold

A while ago, I was dead set on wanting this perfume based on descriptions from a few fragrance influencers. But I kind of put it on hold for a few others I wanted to try. I finally got around to it and it wasn’t quite the “pear” and “sweet notes” I was expecting. For me, this lands quite floral-forward, and on dry down I do get a bit of vanilla and musk. (Though I would never call this a vanilla fragrance.) My husband seems to love it on me. He says it reminds him of fancy, flavored, old-fashioned, pipe tobacco. I just get flowers (with a hint of warmth and sweetness) on my skin. I do like that he loves it on me. It definitely lasts and projects for hours too. I tried layering with a sweeter (marshmallow) perfume and it gets a lot closer to what I was looking for. But if I must layer to make it work for me, I’m not sure I’m a candidate for a full bottle. If I got it for 75% off, then I might buy a full bottle. If you enjoy sweet floral with a touch of warmth and musk, and want a strong projection, try this one.

Kind of dissapointed because I had heard such good things online about this perfume. It smells like RAID roach spray or like some sort of bug spray. I think I will let it sit for awhile and try it again but yeah once I smell the bug spray I can’t get it out of my head.

I really do like this One! It’s very creamy and smells like something from back in the day giving me nostalgia. I smell orange creamcicle from the orange blossom note. I’m going to get this in a full bottle for sure!
